After several years with Bank of Virginia, Tim joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow in 1978. Tim has been consistently recognized for his leadership and performance. He served on the firm’s board of directors from 1996-1999 and was named Most Valuable Associate in 1998. Since 1985, he has been honored for his years of superior performance. Currently, Tim is a BB&T Sterling Performer and serves as a senior managing director. He holds Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations, and variable life and annuity licenses. Tim leverages his extensive experience with stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, professional money managers, insurance and retirement planning on behalf of his clients. Tim and his wife, Danielle, enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and two dogs. Tim’s other interests include photography, hunting, playing music and high-performance car racing.
